Vintage mahjong sets were originally crafted for traditional Chinese play, which does not use jokers. For NMJL play, this set includes eight added joker tiles featuring Crane designs. While these tiles are not original to the set, they’ve been thoughtfully selected to match the bone-and-bamboo construction and size for seamless play.
